Board of Directors
The El Dorado County Fire Protection District is governed by a locally elected seven-member Board of Directors. Each Director is elected by the voters within their respective Director Division and serves a four-year term of office.
Elections are held biennially, with four Directors elected during one election cycle and three Directors elected during the next general election cycle.
Board meetings are regularly held at 1:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month in Diamond Springs. Please check the agenda on the Public Meetings Calendar page or call the El Dorado County Fire Protection District at 530-644-9630 prior to the meeting to confirm the scheduled time and location.
