El Dorado County Fire Station 15 is located at 16211 US Highway 50 in Strawberry CA. This is a 2 story, 2,100 sqft. building, built in 1996. The current wood lap siding and half bath have reached the end of their service life; and the District is looking for bids for replacement. The project would include:

1.       Remove and dispose of the current siding, windows and unusable materials.

2.       Install cementitious siding and replace trim as needed.

3.       Replace all windows (4 total).

4.       Paint body & trim- color to be determined.

5.       Update bathroom.

As a public agency we would like to remind of you that this project will require us to pay prevailing wage and to register it through the CADIR. Also, the awarded company will need to become a verified vendor through El Dorado County, if they are not already registered. This project is currently open for bids, with a start date as soon as possible.
