Mark Brunton has been a resident of El Dorado County for 30 years. During that time, he has lived in Pollock Pines, Placerville and for the last 15 years in Cool. Mark has spent 36 years in the fire service having worked for 4 different agencies. He was also a Volunteer Firefighter for the El Dorado County Fire District for 4 years. Mark holds an Associate Degree in Fire Technologies, a BA degree in Public Administration and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer (EFO) Program. He has proudly served on the El Dorado County Fire District Board for over 10 years representing Division 1.

During his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling and coached football for 8 years for Golden Sierra High School and spending time with his wife Jacqui and son Bryson.
